Stacey LaFay
Stacey earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Central Michigan University in 1996. She founded Franklin Benefit Solutions after working for a major health care provider for twelve years.
She is an expert in designing Health Care programs for the business and nonprofit community. She is a licensed advisor and expert on Medicare health issues, she holds professional membership in the National Association of Health Underwriters.
Stacey is a member of the Greater Flint Arts Council Board of Directors; she enjoys golfing and traveling with her husband Bill LaFay.
Michael C. Spleet II CLU, ChFC, RHU
He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Professionally he holds the designation of Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and Registered Health Underwriter. Michael was hired into a Fortune 500 insurance firm and worked for them for two years. He then worked for a regional employee benefits consulting company for 12 years, reaching the status shareholder. Michael was recruited to work for Franklin Benefit Solutions in 2007 where now he is a partner.
Michael has specialized in working with the nonprofit community on their employee benefit programs in addition to being a retirement planning specialist. He is an active member of the Michigan Nonprofit Association and is actively involved in the Flint community. Currently Michael is President of the Board of Director’s of the Greater Flint Arts Council; Treasurer of Saint Matthew’s Catholic Church and served as President of the Flint Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Michael was been married to his wife Kris for 12 years, they have one son Michael III. He is an avid U of M Football fan, enjoys distance running and gardening.
Tom Webber
Tom graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science, continued his career as a professional student in post graduate studies at C.M.U and Michigan State University.
He was involved in party politics working as campaign manager and strategist for a number of years. Tom was then recruited to work for a regional employee benefits consulting firm, reaching the status of vice-president of marketing.
Tom has over ten years experience in the employee benefits consulting industry, specializing in new market development, State and Federal compliance and legal issues.
Involved in the Flint community, Tom is an active member of the Community Cultural Board, Vice President on Board of Director’s for Greater Flint Arts Council and volunteers to help train runners for the Crim Festival of Races.
