Becca grew up in the rural community of Columbiaville, MI, population 787.    She is very close to her family, especially her younger sister Rachel. They went to Spring Arbor College together, and currently share an apartment in Grand Blanc, MI.

Becca is new to the insurance world, having worked at the Midland Community Center’s in their after school program. She helped students develop into adults through fitness and camping programs. While I am on the topic of fitness,  Becca could be the poster child for Woman’s Health Magazine. During her first week of work, I

noticed a bottle of organic agave nectar sitting in our cupboard. I was familiar with the other positive attributes of the agave plant, namely tequila – but agave nectar?

Besides having a wry, self-depreciating sense of humor, enjoys the benefit of physical activity and being out-of-doors; five hour hikes with her sister, sixty mile bike rides; early morning P-90X workouts, and the camping trips with her family to Holland and Grand Haven, are the different ways Becca spends her time outside of work.

She enjoys volunteering at her church, she is part of a program that help’s junior high students develop leadership skills.

Becca is a huge fan of the Detroit Tigers and the Great Lakes Loons, the minor league baseball team in Midland.

Her favorite meal to cook is scrambled eggs, with spinach and mushrooms; Becca believes the quickest way to a man’s heart is to “cook him some bacon.”
